FAQs
What is Bouldering?
Bouldering is form of climbing that does not require ropes, harnesses or other belay devices. Our bouldering walls do not exceed 16 feet and are surrounded by safety padding to ensure safe landings. For those that feel intimidated by heights, bouldering can provide a challenging experience that does not take you to heights beyond your comfort zone.
What Equipment is Required for Bouldering
Bouldering is ideal for first time climbers because of the minimal gear required. All that is needed for bouldering is, athletic clothing. Guests can bring their own climbing shoes and/or chalk or rent gear from us.
How difficult is Bouldering?
Bouldering routes are rated on the V scale. This scale begins at V0 which is the equivalent difficulty of climbing a ladder. Routes are rated higher on the V scale when they require more technical moves to complete. Throughout the gym we consistently have routes covering the full spectrum of scale in order of all climbers to be able to find the right routes for them.
